Tabata workouts

Tabata workouts were created by Japanese scientist Izumi Tabata after he and his colleagues observed the effectiveness of high-intensity training.

The premise is simple: Take four exercises that you will do during your 4-minute workout. Do #1 for 20 seconds at high intensity, rest 10 seconds, do #2 for 20 seconds, rest 10 seconds, do #3 for 20 seconds, rest 10 seconds, do #4 for 20 seconds, rest 10 seconds, then repeat the entire set once more.

You can choose any variety of exercises, but choose some that complement each other. There are plenty of Tabata videos on YouTube and elsewhere. Watch this video for an example:
